According to the reports, before leaving for UAE for the tournament, Dravid had got a Covid test done, the report of which has come positive. It is being claimed in the report that Rahul Dravid may be out of the opening matches of the Asia Cup. However, no official statement has come from BCCI in this regard.
Team India is going to leave for the UAE for the Asia Cup on Tuesday. In this situation, VVS Laxman, who was the coach of Team India in the ODI against Zimbabwe recently played, can be sent as the coach of Team India in the Asia Cup. Earlier, VVS Laxman had also been the coach of Team India in the Ireland T20 match. VVS Laxman is currently the head of the National Cricket Academy.
